In the 1900 U. S. Census taken June 9 in Yalis Center City, Woodson County, Kansas, Marion Stewart age 34 and born in August 1865 owns a house on State Street. He lists his occupation as R. R. Bridge carpenter. Elizabeth A., his wife is not shown to have an occupation. She is 33 and born in 1866. They have been married 13 years. Marion was born in Kansas and records his father being from Missouri and his mother from Kentucky. May was born in Kansas while her father was born in Ohio and her mother in Kentucky. May has had 4 children and all are alive. Hattie, daughter age 12 born February 1888, is at school. Son Clarence, age 9 born December 1890, is at school. Daughter Inez age 6 born in August 1893, is at school. Ralph, son age 4 born September 1895, is at home.

In the Kansas census of 1905, F. M. Stewart and his children live in Coffeeville, Montgomery County, Kansas. He is shown as female and 38. His wife is not listed. His children are daughter Inez age 16, son Clarence age 14, daughter Hattie age 17, and son Ralph age 9. The Whittaker'Äôs are living with them. Berta Whittaker (female) is 34, Henry Whittaker (male) is 11, Nora Whittaker (female) is 9, Jennie Whittaker (female) is 6, Jamie Whittaker (female) is 4, Fannie Whittaker (Female) is 2 and Earl Whittaker (male) is 7 months.

In the 1910 U. S. Census taken April 27, 1910 in Bartlesville Township Ward 2, Washington County, Oklahoma, Francis Stewart (age 44) is living with his wife Mattie (age 39) and children: Clarence (age 19), Inez (age 16), and Ralph (age 14) on Broad Street in a rented home. Francis was born in Kansas, while his father and mother were from Kentucky. His occupation is shown as carpenter for houses. He reads, writes, and speaks English. He and Mattie have been married three years. Francis has been married three times. Mattie has only been married once and has not had children. She was born in Kansas and her parents are from Kentucky. She speaks English.
Clarence is an apprentice electrician and is shown to rent from his father. Inez and Ralph are shown to have been in school.
