        Wichita Eagle, The (KS) - October 28, 2007 Deceased Name: Kelsey, Geo. R. "Bob" Kelsey, Geo. R. "Bob," 87, retired Lario Oil and Gas Co. Division superintendant, died peacefully in his asleep at a Comfort Care Homes residence on Oct. 26, 2007. Memorial graveside service 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, Lakeview Cemetery. Bob was a WWII veteran in the Pacific Theatre. Upon returning stateside he used the GI Bill to pursue an engineering degree from Oklahoma University. Bob was a charter member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, member of the Albert Pike Masonic Lodge, Midian Shrine and Scottish Rite Temple. Bob loved to travel and especially enjoyed driving through the Flint Hills. Bob was preceded in death by parents, L.M. and Nora Kelsey; brother, Lawrence; sister, Jane; son-in-law, David A. Haines and wife of 58 years, Aline. Survivors: daughters, Sharon Haines, Vicki (Skip) Smith; son, Gary B.; granddaughter, Laura (Trey) Cusick; great-grandchildren, Hayley, Hunter and Houston; grandson, J. Taylor Smith; brothers, Donald, Howard and Gerald; caregivers, Brandi and Margaret. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wichita Children's Home or Midian Plane of Mercy.
