Hoylman McCoy. The marriage and facts about Oliver Bouvier are confirmed from various sources. Oliver, with his parents and siblings, was among the early settlers in Washington County, Nebraska. He and other family members held a significant amount of land in De Soto township south of Blair along the Missouri River. Some of this land, including Oliver's, was incorporated into the town of De Soto, which is now defunct.
