        In the matter of the application of Leroy H. Keys for the enrollment of himself, wife and four children as Cherokee citizens; being sworn by commissioner Breckinridge, and examined by the Commission, he testified as follows:

        Q What is your post office? A Bartlesville
        Q For whom do you apply? A For myself and four children and wife
        Q Where do you live? A I live in Bartlesville.
        Q How long have you lived there? A About 2 months.
        Q Where did you live prior to that time? A South of Bartlesville about 8 miles.
        Q In the Cherokee Nation? A Yes sir.
        Q How long have you lived in the Cherokee Nation? A All my life, born and raised here.
        Q Have you been out of the Cherokee Nation any time within the past three years? A No sir.
        Q Do you apply as an intermarried citizen, or as a Cherokee by blood? A Cherokee by blood.
        Q What is your father'Äôs name? A Isaac William Keys.
        Q Is he living or dead? A Dead
        Q Was he a Cherokee? A Cherokee.
        Q What is the name of your mother? A Jane.
        Q Is she living? A She is dead.
        Q Jane what? A Jane Ramsey was her maiden name.
