June 17, 1866
In accordance with the foregoing petition, Brother J. P. Alsup, as minister of the gospel of Spring presbytery did on the Seventeenth day of June AD 1866 proceed to organize said congregation in accordance with the above petition. Whereupon S. D. Dysart, J. M. Black, W. O. Dysart, Alexander Ralph, John H. Forgey was elected and ordained as ruling elders of said congregation.
